module m|1
It is constructed by connecting seven wooden frames through four metal rods.
Each frame is kept in position by a total of twenty-four short metal tubes.
This modular furniture was first designed at a workshop at university and build by myself. It was later produced as a mini series for limited sales.

It can be used as a chair, combined to a bench, stacked to a shelf, or used in any other way you can imagine.
m|2 'montado'
The outside is covered in a 1cm layer of portuguese cork, making it smooth to the touch, whilst the structural inside is wood.
The stool has no floor, allowing it to be rotated by 90 degrees to transform into a shelf.

Where the module m|1 was based on forming a volume using only onedimensional elements - the wooden sticks - the m|2 tries to achieve the same result starting from a 2D element.
Its basic shape, the cube, is transformed by cutting away one edge. This allows the user to combine several elements in new ways, however it is desired, whilst not destroying its simplicity.
