This is my final project from university. It was designed and presented there in spring 2012, and was afterwards featured in the 2012 venice biennale.

The task was to design a scyscraper for housing in the "Front de Seine" area in Paris. That district is a 1970s urban planning project and is now struggling with the typical problems of the radical approaches of that time.

The project therefore had to deal with two issues aside from the difficulties of creating living space for hundreds of people:

     - How can we embed highrises in historical european cities?
     - How can we transform 1970s urban planning into the 21st century?

The answer I am trying to give lies in creating a house that is composed of several layers, to react to the individual tasks, which are most influential.
