I was born in 1986 in Germany, where I spent the first 26 years of my life, before moving to Portugal.

In that time I attended the university in Karlsruhe and finished my courses with a degree (Dipl. Ing.) in architecture. I covered various scales of design tasks, from urban planning over `classic` architecture to object design - always in practical as well as theoretical ways. As part of my studies I was able to participate in field trips to various parts of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Portugal and Australia.
Before, during, and after my time at university I worked in several professions, including architectural offices but also at construction sites and carpentries.
I believe that close to every part of our lives has uncountable aspects to it, some more important than others, and that no person can grasp all of them at once. That is why I strongly feel that a group effort will always achieve better results than one man or woman alone - given that the group manages to work together.

In 2012 I moved to Porto, Portugal, and am since then working on several architecture and design related issues, competitions, projects, most recently BausteinDesign.
